We are now taking on new members and member renewals for the 2018/19 season. See below and follow the instructions to renew, join or transfer to City of Perth SLSC.

New Members

1. Determine the type of your Membership and fee payable by referring to table below.
2. Create a SLSA account here.
If you are having difficulty joining online please view this help video provided by SLSA for further assistance.
3. Your new SLSA account will take you through to the payment gateway. If you click out of this page, click here to reload.
Please ensure you indicate clearly in the payment description what the payment is for.  If you require assistance, please see example here.
4. Once payment is made, your application is complete.

 Existing New Existing Members or Club Transfers

1. Determine your membership fee payable by referring to the table below.
2. Sign in to your SLSA portal account account here.
3. If you are renewing your membership, select memberships and renewals, payments and transfers.
4. If you are transferring clubs, select the memberships tab and choose join/transfer.
5. If needed, update your details and follow the prompts.
6. Your new SLSA account will take you through to the payment gateway. If you click out of this page, click here to reload.
Please ensure you indicate clearly in the payment description what the payment is for.  If you require assistance, please see example here.
7. Once payment is made, your application is complete.

  • Access to gymnasium, member Lounge facilities, change rooms, 2 hour lockers.
  • May take part in intra club events but are not eligible
  • to win trophies.
  • May not compete in interclub competition (except events which are open to the general public).
  • Non patrolling member.

  • Aged 19 or over (as of 30 September each season).
  • Required to complete Bronze Medallion and annual proficiency.

(Surfguard category: Junior Activity Member 5 to 13 years)
  • Age 5 to 13 (as of 30 September each season).
  • Age groups determined by age.
  • Nippers learn beach safety & lifesaving concepts in a fun environment. 
  • All Nipper applications must be accompanied by a General Parent application or a parent who is already a club member.

(Surfguard category: General) 
  • No qualifications or awards are required to assist with Nipper BBQ, set up or non water based activities.
  • If you want to be actively involved assisting with nipper activities and water safety, a Surf Rescue Certificate or Bronze Medallion is required.

City of Perth SLSC is an incorporated association. The Associations Incorporation Act 2015  provides a framework of regulation for not-for-profit organisations. New members to the Association are required to be provided with a copy of the Association’s Constitution.
