In the lead-up to the State Championships to be held this weekend, a number fo our First Aid competitors recently travelled to Sydney for some match practice.
A group of 14 competitors wen to the Manly carnival last month to gain some competition experience leading up to the States. It gave us the opportunity to try different team combinations and for some it was their first competition in this arena.
We had some good results.
Under 15's
- 2nd - Kate Fletcher and Rachel Smith
- 4th - Ayesha Cutter and Catriona Read
Under 17's
- 1st - Marion Bailey and Sarah Viney
- 5th- Connie Lewis and Christine Burke
Under 19's
- 1st- Roshann Davies and Mundawae Sanderson-Green
- 5th- Tilly Green and Shelby Warren
- 6th- Connie Lewis and Sarah Viney
Open
- 2nd- Janelle Slattery and Christine Burke
- 4th- Natalie Law and Marion Bailey
The teams also manged to get City some TV coverage (starting from the 6:00 minute mark):
The State Championships for First Aid will be held this Sunday at Mullaloo.
