This years Boardies Day will be on Friday 16th March.
Boardies Day is an annual fundraising event coordinated nationally to raise vital funds for lifesaving services throughout Australia. It is a day to celebrate summer, our beaches, our lifestyle and our volunteer lifesavers who give up their leisure time to protect us all at the beach.
This year it is going to be held on Friday the 16th of March.
We want everyone to get involved. Young or old, individual or group, school or business, hospitals or pubs, hotels or clubs. Slip on a pair of board shorts or wear your favourite beach apparel and you are ready to go!
Register your team/group online and get sent a “Boardies Day Pack” for participating. By registering, any funds raised or donations made by your friends or work colleagues come direct to our club.
This could be a great fundraiser for the club, especially considering how hot it is at the moment!
