For many years City of Perth beachies have included a Sandhill Challenge in their pre-season training schedule. Last season a couple of other clubs joined them for the Sunday Morning stroll and this season we're making it an official Pre-season Beach Series Event.
The Sandhill Challenge will take place on Sunday 14th August at City Beach.
This is a great opportunity to add some variety to your pre-season training and catch up with other competitors. It's also a great opportunity for other surf disciplines to race against beachies .
The isolated path from Challenger Parade to the beach is a perfect gradient for a 150m race in pairs.
The lack of parking in the area requires us to meet at City of Perth SLSC, warm up on the grass there and progress down to the pathway.
9am - meet at City of Perth SLSC to warm up and car pool to location.
9.30am – 2 x timed races for each competitor
