Building Sub-Committee

The club Executive Committee is seeking expressions of interest from people interested in being involved in a "Building Sub-Committee". The following is a draft of the roles and responsibilities of the sub-committee and will be further refined in consultation with the sub-committee.

Role
- To provide the club Executive Committee with advice and guidance regarding future clubrooms.
- To take action regarding future clubrooms in collaboration with other sub-committee members and within boundaries set by the club Executive Committee.

Areas of Responsibilities
It is envisioned that there will be three key areas of responsibility within the sub-committee. While initially these are as follows, it is expected that these may change over time.

a) Fund raising strategy
b) Assessing and commentating on designs/plans
c) Liaising with the Town/stakeholders & members

Note 1: The sub-committee members are not expected to have direct involvement or experience/skills in more than one area. eg you may just be a design expert or a fund raising expert.

Note 2: All final policy positions or actions that commit the Club to anything will require endorsement by the Executive Committee.
