The Annual General Meeting will be held at 9:00 am, Sunday 21st June 2009 at the club. Nominations and expressions of interest for club officers, standing committee members, and club position holders, in the 2009/2010 season are now called for.
Completed nomination forms are required to be returned to the club by 5:00 pm, Sunday 31st May 2009.
There are proposed changes to the by-laws to be voted upon at the AGM this year:
Members eligible to vote at Annual General and Special General Meetings shall be restricted to Life Members, Officers of the Club, and members holding any of the following Surf Life Saving Awards:-
(i) Bronze Medallion
(ii) Advanced Resuscitation Certificate
Financial Member 2009/10 - Any member that pays the required membership fee and signs a declaration form (available at the AGM) stating their intention to sign a personalised membership form within 30 days will be deemed to be a financial member until the 30 days expires or the form is signed.
Building update - At the conclusion of the AGM, a general summary and update of the club building plans will be held.
