Although the lingering hot weather continued to bring people out to the beach over Easter, at lunchtime on Saturday the view wasn't exactly clear.
The right mix of atmospheric conditions came together in late morning, and between about 11:30 and 12:30 the Perth coast was covered in thick fog.
Although rare in Perth, such fog is not unprecedented. I can recall one occasion where I was in the water at City when a similar fog rolled in, and could see neither the clubrooms nor the tower!
As the below view from our webcam shows, the fog didn't manage to dampen the enthusiasm of some beachgoers, who just sat through it until clear skies returned!
