At the club meeting on Sunday 21 December all our trainers and assessors were presented with shirts and jackets in recognition of the time and effort they put into training our lifesavers.

Part of the sponsorship provided by Teamworks was a personal development day for the trainers and assessors. on Saturday 20th December the team took part in a high ropes course at Challenge Stadium. All attendees were able to challenge themselves and try new skills and activities, including some team building excercises which they will be able to bring back to their instruction at the club.

Teamworks aims to empower all people to achieve their potential, collectively and individually, through the use of relevant developmental, learning, community and sports initiatives and programmes. They deliver programs at several locations including Challenge Stadium, Byford and Joondalup. More details can be found at www.teamworksdevelopment.com.au or contact Mal Lowther on 9383 7645, please mention your affiliation with the surf club.

Many thanks to Teamworks for their support of this vital part of our club.
