For those that have ventured to City Beach over the last week or so, you would have seen the start of the City Beach Dual Use Pathway.
As promoted earlier this year, a new pathway is being built linking up the south path to the north path. The path will run in front of the club and include the building of a great new amphitheatre directly to the north of the club.
Beach access will be improved with a gentler sloping ramp in front of the club. This will save on cars, boards, skis, boats etc getting smashed and also make it easier to walk from the beach to the club.
Please see the following pictures and be assured that the club has been guaranteed that our activities will not be impacted during the construction phase. The section in front of the club will be finished before October with the entire project due for completion by mid November.
