The 2008 Olympic Games are underway in China, and there are a couple of City members in amongst the action for Australia.
Lisa Oldenhof is in the women's K4 kayak team for her second Olympic Games. The Australians finished sixth at Athens in 2004, and are expected to be a medal contender in Beijing.
The K4 500 will take place in the second week of the Games, with the final scheduled for 4:20pm on Friday the 22nd.
Brett Slocombe is also at the Games, as a physiotherapist for the Australian swimming team, and was spotted impersonating an athlete in the Olympic stadium during the opening ceremony.
