The season came to a formal close last weekend, with the club Annual Dinner.
The club recognised the achievements of the 2007-08 season, and the people who made those achievements possible.
We also saw the awarding of two new Life Memberships - Rick Turner and Rod King.
There was entertainment too, with the debut screening of "City Rescue".
The award winners for 2007-08 were:
- Boatperson of the Year - Damon Hansen-Knarhoi
- Most Promising Cadet - Josh Walker
- Most Enthusiastic Under 19 - James Cohen
- Coach of the Year - Leigh Buchan
- Best Instructor - Rebecca Cohen
- Best Patrol Member - John Davies
- Rotary Lifesaving Administration Award - Robynann Davies
- Town of Cambridge Best Club Member - Alicia Marriott
