The 800 Metre Handicap was swum today at City.
The results were:
- First - Rob Jenkinson
- Fastest Male - Jesse George
- Fastest Female - Alicia Marriott
The race was quite tight with only four seconds separating the three trophy winners. Handicaps were doubled for the longer swim with the Veteran Rob Jenkinson off 80 seconds, Jess George off 160 seconds and Alicia off 200.
While there are no prizes for the under age categories great swims were recorded by
- Paddy Anderson-Loake 5th (under 15)
- Mitchell Jenkinson 6th (under 14)
- Estelle Doney 7th (under 17)
In the Family wars old man Jenkinson has the wood on his son Mitchell, although for not much longer, and both beat mum Julie. The Caley family had three entrants and the youngest member Asher beat both brother Ben and father Dave (16:17).
