The ski shed underwent another makeover recently, increasing our ski storage capacity by just that little bit more...
The usual dedicated Pounders turned out to do the job, under the watchful eye of co-ordinator Ken Richards (who got the supervisor's job because he reportedly wouldn't know one end of a hammer from the other).
While at first glance the setup may appear no different, the bays have now been configured to be six skis high by five wide, a significant increase on the old five by four arrangement.
It's not that long ago that the ski shed was being used to store our skis and boards, including patrol rescue boards, with only about thirty racks in total. The continual need to find more space is a testament to the continuing growth of our club, and especially the Pounders.
