Nesbit Seventh At Molokai
4th June 2007

City's Ash Nesbit recently finished seventh in the 60km ocean paddle, the Molokai World Championships in Hawaii.

The Rapid Ascent website reported on Ash's performance:

"WA's ruggedly chubby champion and hot podium prospect Ash Nesbit displayed coolness under fire in the grueling conditions spearheading the Aussie assault ghosting the shoulder of race icon Oscar Chalupsky (South Africa) at the front of the field. A tactical faux pas in the final kilometres saw Ash's luck sour as he slipped agonizingly out of contention."

Well done Ash, you ruggedly chubby champion.
